Habitat Improvement

We will offer both member experienced learning lessons and tips, as well as expert level advice through our educational seminars.

Habitat is the key to having whitetails.  Healthy habitat as well as a healthy diet will help deer reach their genetic limitations.

There are a number of ways in which to improve habitat; prescribed burning, regeneration of native browse by cutting, planting annual and perennial food plots, digging ponds to provide deer sustainable water source during dry months are examples of habitat improvements.
